I applied GC labor in Mar 2005 and After 140 approval and 485 is pending morethan 2yrs, i changed my employer by using AC21. After that i recieved a letter from USCIS saying that I-485 denial on May 25th 2010, then after we applied on MTR on June 10th 2010. I recieved an reciept on June 20th 2010.
Can i work now by using an EAD or i need to wait until get the approval on MTR please do advice and when i could get the response from USCIS. My EAd is going to be expire within a couple of months, i applied renewal and i got a reciept on I-765. Please help me on this, really appreciate your help.

My girlfriend (from Russia) and I have been for about 3 years and living together for the last year and I've recently decided I want to propose this summer. She is currently here as an I-9 form (she's in grad school), but her student visa is expired. She recently got a job on campus and while she was going through the paperwork yesterday realized that her passport is going to expire next April (2012). So she is now planning to go back to Russia at the end of the year to renew her passport and apply for a new student visa. As I think we'd both like a longer engagement, and with a fiance visa you need to marry within 90 days of entering the country, we probably wouldn't want to apply for one at that time. However, I'm now wondering if being engaged will cause any complications for her when applying for her student visa. Any information or advise you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

how long does it take for USCIS to issue a receipt date..for 140's???
my attorney had said she sent the docs around nov 20.. should i not have received the date/notice by now?:confused:

USCIS used to have a lot of difficulty raising fees and would only get increases approved every few years. They now raise their fees frequently and have just announced their intentions to do so again. In the past, they blamed poor service on the lack of resources and promised - many times - that more money would translate in to better results. I once supported this view. But no longer. Simply create a button that links to the zip file. Instead of linking to a web site, link to the URL of the file instead!

Hey HybridIllusion,
It all depends on what format your 2d image is in. If it is in AI or EPS, you can automatically import the image into Swift 3D and animate it. If it is a JPG or GIF, you might have a few more steps before importing into Swift 3D.
Take your image and import it into Flash. Export the Flash animation as AI (adobe illustrator) by going to File | Publish Settings | File Types tab. Check the AI box and then publish the movie. The image will be exported in the AI format. From the AI format, you can import into Swift 3D and animate with no limitations.

Sorry Steve,
I was using a different web browser (Mozilla) and it wasn't showing the image. I've always used it and it has worked fine, but for some reason these two pics it won't show. On Explorer it will, sorry for the trouble. All ok.
